Golfer’s Elbow Part 2
Chiropractic doctors can adjust the elbow, use muscle release technique, muscle stripping, ultrasound, and many other ways to reduce the inflammation, reduce the and increase range of motion. At home the best advice is to see a stretch, Ice, and strengthen the muscles surrounding the elbow if you can’t go to a chiropractic wellness center. You can also purchase arm braces while the injury is healing. Limit your time on the links in order to let the injury heal. Every injury is unique so be sure to check with your chiropractic sports physician or chiropractic wellness center before starting a rehabilitation routine.
If the injury was result of an improper golf swing, I would suggest recruiting a golf coach to learn how to improve your swing and reduce the risk of re-injury. I know a great golf pro if you need a reference her in the Silicon Valley. Please call or email me if you or someone you know needs chiropractic sports treatment for golfer’s elbow or any other injury or nagging pain.
